Financial Planning& Accounting Analyst Job Summary: The Financial Accounting Planner and Analyst will perform various business analyses to include the rolling financial forecast of the company’s balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows. The role will also be involved with the monthly accounting close to include various reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss variances. New and current product and customer profitability analysis will also be performed. This position is a business partner to various functional areas of manufacturing, sales, and supply chain and leads the annual budget process. This position is a subject-matter expert with regard to cost accounting and prepares estimated costs and recommended pricing for potential new products.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent team player that is highly motivated and is a self-starter.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to create concise, easy to understand information from large volumes of system transactions.
1-3 Years of Financial Modeling within a Manufacturing organization preferred but not required.
1- 3 years of Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience preferred but not required
1 -3 years of General Ledger Accounting experience preferred but not required.
CMA or CPA certification or on track for either is desired.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Must be able to create pivot tables and charts in Excel.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
