About The Practice

Charlottesville Radiology, Ltd. (CRL) is a private independent radiology practice that has provided exclusive imaging interpretation and interventional procedures to the community based hospital, Sentara Martha Jefferson in Charlottesville, Virginia for more than 50 years. CRL is seeking a full-time or part time breast imager or breast/body imager to join our 9 ABR Certified Radiologists for the summer of 2024.

About The Position

* Full or part-time breast radiologist on either an employment or partnership track.

o Employment options can be customizable to fit desired schedule and salary.

o Partnership requires night (until 10 PM) and weekend (until 10 PM) call coverage.

o Practice at an ACR Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center (Center of Excellence).

Collaborative work environment with dedicated breast surgeons and fellowship trained breast imager.

Facility has an active High Risk Clinic.

Available service-line modalities include abbreviated breast MRI and contrast-enhanced mammography.

No travel to distant imaging sites

o The ideal candidate should be comfortable with all aspects of breast imaging interpretation with ability/desire to perform ultrasound, stereotactic and MRI-guided biopsies.

o Additional strong interest and expertise in broad practice of radiology, particularly in body imaging/ body MRI, is considered a plus

* Applicants must be board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Radiology and have an unrestricted medical license in Virginia.
