Assembly Operator - 1st Shift

This hourly role follows the Scotts/Hawthorne step pay progression scale and typically starts at $18.75 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

We are looking for an Assembly Operator to join our team in Temecula, CA.

The Assembly Operator will perform manual operations in assembly as required by work instructions and assigned by the Production Lead.

What you'll do in this role:

• Performs manual operations in connection with assembling and manufacturing components subassemblies or entire units.
• Uses light powered electrical, air or mechanical tools, including hand tools.
• Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanical units to meet specifications and requirements.
• Follows procedures and techniques for the use of tools and/or equipment to meet production needs.
• Performs other duties as necessary.
• Keeps work areas clear and free of debris.
• Adheres to safety rules and ergonomic practices.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Education: None required.
• Experience: On the job training is available
• Knowledge: No prior knowledge is required.
• Skills and Abilities: The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and bend for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work the required shift.
