Shift

Monday through Friday, Day Shift; 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours as needed.

Job Summary

Completes various administrative tasks for the Department of Family and Community Medicine Chair. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the Chair's daily schedule, travel, and meeting arrangements; document creation (presentations, communications, meeting minutes) and record retention; operational coordinator for key strategic-operational meetings as assigned; assisting the Office of the Chair and department with daily operations and special projects; and service excellence.

Individuals must have solid communication (oral and written), resource and organizational management, and interpersonal skills. Key success factors include emotional intelligence, servant leadership, adaptability, creativity and innovation, resilience, and being politically and technologically savvy.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Microsoft Office applications – Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote and Access. Administrative and scheduling experience; organization, attention to detail, multi-tasking.

Preferred Education/Experience

Prefer experience in a hospital/medical center/college administration environment.
