Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering seeks an Engineer Associate. This position manages, leads, and assists in field monitoring of water and soil resources, experimental design, primary data collection, data analysis, publication of results, and development and delivery of Extension products and programming. The Engineer Associate will assist the Water Resources Extension Associate Professor in BAE, graduate and undergraduate students, and other staff for developing Extension products and programming related to stormwater management, low impact development, green stormwater infrastructure, flooding during extreme events, and community water resilience. This position will assist in coordination and construction of low impact development demonstration sites. This position will work with urban, peri-urban, and rural communities to determine community capacity and challenges for water management, and assist with troubleshooting water management issues. This is a soft money position.
