Job Description

Candidate will keep supplies on-hand for the embryo culture laboratory of the National Swine Resource and Research Center (NSRRC).

Monitor disease status of the NSRRC to maintain our Specific Pathogen Free status.

Run new assays to follow the epidemiology of emerging diseases and the disease status of the NSRRC.

Organize the MULE TEAM seminar series, web sites for the NSRRC and Somatic Cell Gene Editing Center and other administrative tasks.

Shift

Monday - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in epidemiology is preferable.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $16.92 - $29.10 hourly Commensurate with experience.
Grade: GGS-007
